Revere is governed by the Mayor and an 11 member City Council, 6 member School Committee inclusive of the Mayor who serves as chairperson. Councilors are elected for a 2 year term. The Mayor is elected for a 4 year term.
VOTING: U.S. Citizens who reside in Revere and reach the age of 18 on or before any election can register to vote in the City. You must register at least 20 days prior to any election. Voters can register in person at the City Clerk’s office (281 Broadway) Mon.—Thurs. from 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Fridays 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Mail in registration forms are available by calling the Election Commission at 781 286-8200.
