RESIDENTIAL RUBBISH COLLECTION
For all collection information please visit the Department of Public Works’ page on the Revere website: www.revere.org
Household rubbish should be contained in trash receptacles and placed at curbside
in front of each property not before 5:00 p.m. the night before and no later than
7:00 a.m. the day of trash pick-up.
There is NO collection on Holidays and pick-up is delayed one day from regularly
scheduled day. Curbside pickup of yard
waste is on regular trash day. Yard
waste must be in brown paper leaf bags or open barrels.
Plastic bags will not be picked up.
Since regulations regarding the disposition of various household items including
white goods changes, please visit www.revere.org,
DPW page or call the City Yard at 781 286-8149 or the DPW Business Office at 781
286-8145.
Building or Construction Materials must be disposed of by the homeowner in conjunction with their contractor or otherwise. These items will not be accepted by the City either curbside or at the City Yard.
COMMERCIAL RUBBISH COLLECTION
Businesses are required to privately contract waste removal services.
RECYCLING
Revere recycles. All recyclable materials must be separated from other trash items and put in recycle bins and left curbside. Collection is every other week along with your regular trash collection.
WATER & SEWER
Water is supplied by the Mass. Water Resources Authority (MWRA) 617-242-6000. The city of Revere provides a public
sewer system.
